Leopoldo Sucre Figarella (1926-1996), a member of the notable Sucre family of Venezuela, was a politician during the 1960s through the 1990s. He served under President Romulo Betancourt as Minister of Public Works, and was heavily involved in such infrastructure construction as the Angostura Bridge and a number of highways throughout the country.
