Lloyd Norman Axworthy, PC, OC, OM, Ph.D, MA (born December 21, 1939, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian politician. He is best known for having served as Minister of Foreign Affairs under Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. Axworthy is currently President of the University of Winnipeg. He is a member of the Commission on Legal Empowerment of the Poor, the first global initiative to focus specificially on the link between exclusion, poverty and law. Wikipedia
