Luigi de Magistris (23 February 1926-) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop who served as Pro-Major Penitentiary of Apostolic Penitentiary from 2001 until the appointment of James Cardinal Stafford in 2003. He was ordained on 12 April 1952 as a Priest in Cagliari, Italy. This was followed by an appointment in Apostolic Penitentiary in April 1979. He was appointed Titular Bishop of Nova on 6 March 1996 by Pope John Paul II being ordained bishop on 28 April 1996. Wikipedia
