Professor Lumin Wang came to the USA from China in 1982 and received his PhD in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988. He has worked at Argonne National Laboratory and University of New Mexico before joining the faculty at the University of Michigan in 1997. He is now a professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering & Radiological Sciences with a joint appointment in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering.
