Lynne Ewing is an American author and a screen writer. She began her writing career at the age of 30 after doing some work for the department of social work in Los Angeles County. Initially, she wrote for documentaries and newspapers. After some time she began work on her first novel, "Drive-By". Her second book "Party Girl", has since been made into a movie called "Living the Life". She has written all 12 of the Daughters of the Moon series as well. Wikipedia
