Mabel Lee, B.A. (Hons I), Ph.D., is Honorary Associate of the School of Languages and Cultures at the University of Sydney where, from 1966 to 31 January 2000, she was a member of the Chinese studies academic staff. During this period she served on various interdisciplinary committees and was appointed founding Head of the School of Asian Studies (1991-3).
