Marcel Lefebvre
Marcel-François Lefebvre, better known as Marcel Lefebvre, was a French prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who took a leading part in opposing the changes within the Church associated with the Second Vatican Council. In 1970 he founded the Society of St. Pius X, for which on 30 June 1988 he consecrated four bishops.
