Marco Materazzi, Cavaliere Ufficiale OMRI, (born August 19, 1973 in Lecce) is an Italian football defender, who currently plays for Serie A club Internazionale, sometimes known as Inter Milan. He was a part of the Italian team that won the 2006 FIFA World Cup, where he was headbutted by Zinedine Zidane, after having provoked him.
