Marcos Carvajal [car-va-HAL] (born August 19, 1984, in Bolívar, Venezuela) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who plays for the New York Mets. Carvajal bats and throws right-handed. He made his major league debut on April 6, 2005, with the Colorado Rockies. After the 2005 season, he was traded to the Seattle Mariners for catcher Yorvit Torrealba. In April of 2006, the Mariners traded him to Tampa Bay for minor league pitcher Jose De La Cruz. Wikipedia
