Margaret Bayne Todd (4 January, 1906 - 27 July, 2004) was born in Glasgow, but is usually more associated with Liverpool; her home from the 1920s. Known to herself and others as a "prickly customer", she had, as a teenager, chosen "Thistle" as her Camp Fire name in acknowledgment of this.
