Margaret Edith Weis is an extremely prolific fantasy novelist who, along with Tracy Hickman, is one of the original creators of the "Dragonlance" game world and has written numerous novels and short stories set in the world of Krynn. She graduated from the University of Missouri–Columbia and now lives in southern Wisconsin in a converted barn.
