Maria Simon is a German actress. She is the sister of the actress Susanna Simon and grew up in the German Democratic Republic but moved in 1990 to New York to live with her father, a computer expert with the UN, and sister Dalena Simon. After finishing school she moved back to Germany to study acting at the "Academy of Performing Arts Ernst Busch" in Berlin where she received her diploma in 1999. Wikipedia
