Mark Emmert has, since 2004, been the 30th president of the University of Washington, and is a former chancellor of Louisiana State University. Emmert, who is a University of Washington alumnus, grew up in Fife, Washington, one of two brothers. He attended Fife High School. He afterwards married his high school sweetheart, DeLaine Smith, at Fife Presbyterian Church, and they have two children, Stephen and Jennifer. Wikipedia
