Mark Gearan is a politician, lawyer and communications expert. He is the current President of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. During the Clinton Administration he served several roles. Gearan was director of the Peace Corps from 1995 to 1999. Prior to his Peace Corps directorship, he was assistant to the President and White House Director of Communications, a position with the title of White House Deputy Chief of Staff. Wikipedia
