Mark Richard Hamill (born September 25, 1951) is an American actor. Hamill is best known for his portrayal of Luke Skywalker in the original "Star Wars" films, Colonel Christopher "Maverick" Blair in the Wing Commander franchise, and as the voice of The Joker in "Batman: The Animated Series".
