Mark Lenard (October 15, 1924 - November 22, 1996) was an American actor, primarily in television. Lenard was known as the actor who played Spock's father, Sarek, in "Star Trek: The Original Series". He was one of the first actors to either appear in more than one "Star Trek" series as the same character and play more than one character.
