Marsha Sharp was the head coach of Texas Tech University's women's basketball team, the Lady Raiders, for 23 years. She retired following the 2005-2006 season. Sharp graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 1974 and earned a master's degree from West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M) in 1976.
