Martin Starr (born July 30, 1982) is an American television and film actor. He is known for his portrayal of Bill Haverchuck on the short-lived NBC dramedy "Freaks and Geeks" (1999-2000). Starr was born Martin James Pflieger Schienle in Santa Monica, California, the son of actress Jean St. James (nee Pflieger) and Jim Schienle, a guidance counselor at West Zephyrhills Elementary.
