Mary Stallings is a jazz vocalist born in San Francisco, California, perhaps best known for her 1961 collaboration with Cal Tjader on the album "Cal Tjader Plays, Mary Stallings Sings" on Fantasy Records. As a teenager, Stallings performed with the Louis Jordan "Tympani Five". After recording with Cal Tjader, Stallings was a featured vocalist with the Count Basie Orchestra from 1969-1972.
