Mary Virginia ("Ginny") Wilmerding, PhD, danced professionally in New York City with: the Solomons Company/Dance under the artistic direction of Gus Solomons, Musawwir Gymnastic Dance Company, under the artistic direction of Toby Towson, and Richard Walker and Dancers, under the artistic direction of Richard Walker. She is now a performer with New Mexico Ballet under the artistic direction of Patricia Dickinson. Dr. Wilmerding has taught for the UNM Dance Program since 1983. unm.edu
