Matt Hammett is the pastor of Flood, a San Diego church that began in 2000. He graduated from Bethel Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. Inspired by the Old Testament verse Joel 2:28, "I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions" (NIV), Flood was created with the desire that congregants would be flooded with the Spirit that God has promised to pour out on all his people.
