My name is Matt, I was born in Fullerton, California on September 2, 1967, and am an only child. I moved to San Francisco in 1991, where I finished my B.A. and M.A. degrees at SFSU. I moved to L.A. in 1997 for a doctoral program at USC. Currently, I work as a Photograph Archivist for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where Im in charge of the Academy Award photographs at the Margaret Herrick Library.
