Matthew Scott (born July 30 1985 in Longreach, Queensland) is a rugby league player for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League competition. Scott broke his leg in the opening minutes of his debut game against the Parramatta Eels in 2004, which in turn ruled him out for the rest of the season.
