Mauricio José Rojas Mullor is a Swedish politician and political economist, member of the Riksdag since 2002. Mauricio Rojas was born in Santiago, Chile. An active socialist in his youth, he fled to Sweden in 1974 following the military coup and the subsequent persecution of leftist activists by the new Pinochet regime. His mother was arrested and tortured, but eventually managed to escape to Sweden too. Wikipedia
