Maya Pedersen-Bieri (born 27 November 1972) is a Swiss skeleton racer. She is one of the most successful skeleton athletes in the world. She was world champion in 2001 and 2005 (both times in Calgary, as well as European champion in 2006 (in St. Moritz). She won the overall skeleton world cup in the 1997/98 season, became second three times (1999/2000, 2001/02, 2004/05) and twice reached third place (1998/99 and 2000/01). Wikipedia
