I lived in Boston for a long long time. Then I moved to Austin to go to library school, and I have no plans to leave this place. As a kid I resented, with all of my being, the fact that I was born into the post-electrification world. Lady Jane Grey and Laura Ingalls Wilder were my heroes, and anything or anybody that came after them was totally irrelevant.
