Melissa Markham Melissa Markham began teaching for the AU Literature Department in fall 2004 as an adjunct and became full time in fall 2006. She graduated with an MA in Humanities in 2004 from Penn State Harrisburg and a BA in Humanities-English from Brigham Young University in 1998. She has also taught at the Harrisburg Area and the Northern Virginia Community Colleges. american.edu
