Melville T. Kennedy, Jr . Mel joined the Bryn Mawr faculty in 1958 as Assistant Professor of Political Science, and became Associate Professor in 1960 and Professor in 1969. He took a leave of absence from 1969-1971 to work for the American Friends Service Committee as the Quaker representative in South Asia. brynmawr.edu
