Mick Maguire has worn many hats during his tenure at Clarkson, which began in the late 1980s. Entering his 21st year with the University’s Athletic Department, Maguire was named Clarkson’s Aquatics Director and swim coach in 1987 and has guided the Golden Knights swim teams to continued success in league and regional competition. In 2005, Maguire's tutelage helped guide Matt Szrama to the NCAA Championships, the first Clarkson swimmer to reach the NCAAs in eight years. clarksonathletics
