Mihai Mitrea received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computers from the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications of POLITEHNICA University (Bucharest, Romania), in 1996 and 1997, respectively. His PhD thesis ( POLITEHNICA University , 2003) dealt with new applications of Information Theory and Random Processes to digital visual information protection (cryptography, watermarking), natural language processing, and seismic data analysis. www-artemis.int-evry.fr
