Mike Wallace is an American historian. He is currently the director of the Gotham Center for New York City History. He is also Distinguished Professor of History at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York, where he has taught since 1971. Wallace received a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University. In 1999, he won the Pulitzer Prize for History, along with co-author Edwin G. Burrows, for "Gotham: A History of New York City to 1898". Wikipedia
