Mikuláš Dzurinda (born February 4, 1955) served as the Prime Minister of Slovakia from October 30, 1998 until July 4, 2006 (after re-election in October 2002). He was a founder and leader of the Slovak Democratic Coalition (SDK) and the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union.
