I am a flat bread that comes from the northern regions of India. I am cooked in a tandoori, a wood fired clay oven. Food cooked in a tandoori is similar to grilled, and usually consists of breads laid on a stone or meats on a kebab. I am made from a relatively simple kneaded dough that is stretched and laid on a stone to cook. I become fluffy and soft, somewhat chewy and stretchy. MySpace
