Nambaryn Enkhbayar (born June 1, 1958, in Ulaanbaatar) is the current President of Mongolia. He took office on June 24, 2005 after winning the May 2005 elections. Enkhbayar is the ex-chairman of former communist party - Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP).
