Oliver von Dohnányi is a Czech/Slovakian conductor of Hungarian origin, who is also the great grandson of the composer Ernő Dohnányi. He is currently the Music Director of the National Theatre in Prague, Opera Director of the Moravian-Silesian National Theatre, Ostrava, Conductor-in-chief of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, Bratislava and in 2004, he was appointed music director with the Slovak Sinfonietta Orchestra.
