I was born on January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. I grew up on a farm with my grandmother. She taught me to read at the age of 3. I lived with my mom from 6-13 years old. I was abused and molested so I ran away and ended up living at my Dad's house. I started broadcasting at the age of 17 as a reporter/anchor.
