Pat LaFontaine (born February 22, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri) was an ice hockey center in the National Hockey League, who played his entire career for all three New York-based teams: the New York Islanders (1983-1991), Buffalo Sabres (1991-1997), and New York Rangers (1997-1998). LaFontaine recently worked for the Islanders as the senior advisor to the owner, Charles Wang before resigning on July 18, 2006. Wikipedia
