Paul Edward Hayes (born December 9 1983 in Dagenham, England) is an English footballer with Football League Championship side Scunthorpe United. Hayes grew up in East London and went to Barclay Junior School in Leyton, where he captained the school football team from the age of 7. Hayes started his footballing career as a school boy with Norwich City where he spent 3 years, before signing for Scunthorpe United in 2002. He made over 115 appearances, scoring 33 goals. Wikipedia
