About Paul Jenkins

Paul Jenkins (born 1923 in Kansas City, Missouri) is a U.S. abstract expressionist painter. In 1948, he came to New York where, on the G.I. Bill, he studied at the Art Students League with Yasuo Kuniyoshi (4 years) and with Morris Kantor. In the early 50s, he achieved prominence both in New York and Europe for his early abstractions.
