Paul LaFarge, born in New York in 1970, is a Yale graduate and American author of fiction. He has written three books: "The Artist of the Missing," "Haussman; or, the Distinction," and "The Facts of Winter." "Haussmann, or the Distinction" enigmatically retells the story of Baron Haussmann, who masterminded the carving up of Parisian streets into modern boulevards, like the Champs-Élysées. Wikipedia
