Penny Cook (born 13 July 1957) is a popular Australian actress. She graduated from the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1978. Cook first appeared in the 1970s Australian television soap "The Restless Years". In her best-known roles, Cook played veterinarian Vicky Dean in the drama series "A Country Practice" from 1981 to 1985 and Dr. Elly Fielding in the Ten Network soap "E Street" from 1989 to 1991.
