Pierre-Luc Laforest, more commonly known as Pete Laforest (born January 27, 1978 in Hull, Quebec) is a Canadian baseball catcher for the Major League Baseball San Diego Padres. He is a graduate of Fort Scott Community College. He plays for the Portland Beavers, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, and was a draft pick of the Montreal Expos.
