Peter David Tomarken was an American television personality known primarily as host of "Press Your Luck". Born in Olean, New York, Tomarken was the middle son of Barnet and Pearl Tomarken. Barnet and Pearl owned Dee’s Jewelry store in Olean. When Barnet died in 1957, Pearl moved the family to Odessa, Texas and then in 1959 to California.
