A winner of 15 national titles, Petria Ann Thomas OAM (born August 25 1975) is an Australian swimmer and Olympic gold medallist. She was born in Lismore, New South Wales and grew up in the nearby town of Mullumbimby. In 1994, at the age of 17, Thomas won a bronze medal in the 200 m butterfly at the World Championships.
