Preston B. Plumb (October 12, 1837 - December 20, 1891) was a United States Senator from Kansas, as well as an officer in the Union Army during the American Civil War. Born in Delaware County, Ohio, he attended a preparatory school, learned the trade of printing and afterward purchased and edited the "Xenia News".
