Quentin Blake was born in 1932 and he has drawn ever since he can remember. His first drawing was published in a magazine for adults called 'Punch' when he was only 16. Later, he went to Downing College, Cambridge where he read English and after that he did a training course to teach at the University of London. This was followed by a part-time course at Chelsea Art School. kidsonthenet
