Raduan Nassar was born on November 27, 1935, in Pindorama, São Paulo state. He is a Brazilian writer, son of Lebanese immigrants. He moved to São Paulo when he was a teenager. He studied Law and Philosophy at one of the most important universities in Brazil, USP. In 1970, he wrote "Um Copo de Cólera", published in 1978.
