Ralph Rapson passed away March 29 of heart failure. He was 93. He served as head of the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture from 1954 to 1984. (It became the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in 1989). Rapson is most widely known as the architect of the original Guthrie Theater, which opened in 1963. umn.edu
