The Rev. Dr Richard Busby (27 September 1606 - 1695) was an English clergyman, and headmaster of Westminster School. His is believed by many to be the most famous headmaster in history, because he served for 57 years. He was born at Lutton in Lincolnshire, and educated at Westminster, where he first showed his academic promise by gaining a King's Scholarship.
