Richard worked for Unilever for over 30 years and was Deputy Director of Personnel for Unilever Plc before becoming Chairman of Unilever UK from 1998 until 2004. He is Chairman of The Council for Industry and Higher Education, CARE International UK, First Milk, and Chairman of the UK advisory board of a US listed outsourcing company, OPI. Richard is also Vice Chairman of the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. rank
